What support can and can’t see

What we can see

Your account, your licence, the devices signed in, and the error reports your app has sent.

What we can’t see

Your broker key, your positions or balance, and the contents of your decks. The copy of your decks on our server is encrypted, and we can’t open it.

So the fastest way to fix a deck

Export the deck from the studio and attach the file to your message. That is the only way we can see what is in it. Keys and channel tokens are never in the file, and holdings are left out unless you include them.

What to include

  1. The email address of your ScoutDex account.
  2. Your app version, from Settings → App.
  3. What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  4. Your broker’s name, if it is about a connection.
  5. An exported deck file, if it is about a deck.

Never send

Your API key or secret, your broker password, or a screenshot that shows them. We will never ask for them.
