Decks · Crypto

Build components, tick them into a deck,
and put the deck on a line.

How a crypto deck is put together in the studio. Prices come from public exchange feeds, so there is no key and no account.

Works in the browser too. The studio on this site can build a crypto deck. The free app runs one sample crypto deck; making and editing your own decks needs Deck.

NO KEY NEEDEDOPEN 24/7

STEP 1 — BUILD A COMPONENT

A component is one list,
built once.

Each crypto component has a settlement currency, the exchanges it reads, and one of four kinds.

Settlement currency

USD, USDT, USDC, BTC or KRW. The same coin trades at a different price in each, and KRW prices often sit above the rest. The exchange list follows the currency you pick.

Five exchanges, your choice

Five are included and you choose which. Five more cost $10 a year, for ten in all.

Holdings and picked by hand

Holdings are the coins you own, typed in once — we never read your exchange account. Picked by hand is any coin you name.

Leaders

The top N in a category such as Layer 1, DeFi or Meme, ranked by dollar volume or change. It refills as the day changes.

Rules

Up to three conditions, and a coin must meet all of them.

How a rule is written

A rule holds up to three conditions, and a coin must meet all of them — for example 24h change > +5% and dollar volume above 10M USD. For either-or, make a second component and tick both into the deck. Stablecoins sit at $1 and top every volume list, so leaders and rules leave them out unless you include them.

STEP 2 — ADD IT TO A DECK

Tick components
into a deck.

Linked, not copied

Edit a component and every deck that uses it changes with it.

One list, no repeats

A deck is every component you tick. A coin that comes in twice is shown once.

Alerts live in the deck

Each deck has an Alerts tab. A coin with an alert stays on the line even when a rule drops it.

Your own decks need Deck

The free app runs one sample crypto deck. Making and editing your own decks needs Deck.

STEP 3 — PUT THE DECK ON A LINE

Then the deck goes
on a ticker line.

Two tickers, three lines each

Up to two tickers, one per monitor. Each line carries one deck.

The line title shows the market

It shows the deck name and the market status. A crypto line shows 24/7.

News runs on its own line

A news deck has no Alerts tab, only a keyword filter, and it takes a line of its own.

Each ticker has its own settings

Position, speed, font, up/down colours, background, lines and mouse. By default the mouse passes through; with Take, pointing stops the line, the wheel scrolls it and a click opens a symbol card.

WORTH KNOWING

How it behaves
once it’s running.

The studio shows the loop time

Before you save, the studio shows how long one pass of the line takes at your speed.

Crypto never closes

Markets trade around the clock, so an alert can fire at any hour.

Our server sends nothing

Alerts go out from the app on your computer, so the app must be running.

SMALLER QUESTIONS

The ones that come up
in the studio.

Coin categories come from a market-cap data service.

Exchanges don’t share a category list, so the app takes categories such as Layer 1, DeFi or Meme from a market-cap data service it already calls.

Changing a component’s currency keeps your decks.

Every deck that uses the component updates. The exchange list is asked again for the new currency.

Trying it costs nothing.

The free app runs a sample crypto deck we made. Making and editing your own decks opens with Deck, and you have fifteen days to change your mind.
